2009 Oklahoma SBO Winner

Ms. Cindy Shiever, Administrative Assistant, Crescent Schools was chosen by the Oklahoma ASBO Board of Directors to be recognized as the “School Business Official of the Year” for Oklahoma ASBO in 2009.

Ms. Shiever was a student at the Hutchison Community College, Hutchison, Kansas and has completed the 3-year program at the Oklahoma Center for School Business Management and the many Fourth Year annual programs. She has also completed the OCSBM Payroll Workshop and the Encumbrance Workshop. In addition to many other workshop, she has completed Fred Pryor Seminars on Management Skills.

She was presented an attractive statuette from Oklahoma ASBO and a stipend by Document Imaging Solutions, LLC, Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the Spring Conference First General Session on Thursday, April 16, 2009. John Musso, Executive Director of ASBO International was here and joined us to honor her selection.

Ms. Nancy McKay, Chief Financial Officer for Jenks Schools was chosen by the Oklahoma ASBO Board of Directors to be recognized as the “School Business Official of the Year” for Oklahoma ASBO in 2008. Nancy is currently serving as Vice President of Oklahoma ASBO at this time and she has been a tireless worker for ASBO for many years.
